C oqcillb Among the counties which have already filed petitions for a vote on prohibiten at the November election are Klamath, Jackson, Coos, Lane, Douglas, Linn, Baker aud several other counties in the eastern part of the state. An order has been placed for the necessary building material for the new broom factory to be erected in the Kinney addition on the south side of the railroad track, a short distance east of the packing house of the Umpqua Valley Prune Grow ers’ Association. Tho Oklahoma parties who will operate the new factory have been notified that their terms and requirements will all be met and that the greater part of the cash required to put up the build ing bad already been provided.
