Stanley, mayor, in the chair. Present at roll call: Councilmen Burns, Davenport, Johnsan, Kerr and Lorenz, His Hon. the mayor, the city Recorder and Marshal. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. The monthly reports of the city Recorder, Treasurer and Marshal were read and refered to Finance Committee. Also under this head the Marshal filed a report on defec tive and worn out side walks, com prising 1720 feet belonging to twenty-one owners, as well as about 300 feet of cross walks in urgent need of repairing or rebuilding. Committee of the whole council on Depot street opening not having formulated a satisfactory report, the matter was laid over to a future meeting.
