Roup, a prosperous ranch owner owning lands on Prairie Creek, but making his. home in Jo seph, went through Enterprise Sat urday to Wallowa. He contemplated spending a day there on business. D. H. Stumbangh, formerly a resi dent of this locality, but now living near Pendleton, was in Enterprise Saturday las on his way to the Im naha country. He has two sons, Luther and Gus Stum ba ugh living on the Imnaha, where he will visit. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Lee, recenUy married in La - Grande, arrived In Enterprise, Saturday evening. L. Day, baked the birthday cake and arranged it with the proper number of candles and all the little guests made merry throughout the occasion.
