Records," "Expense," and other facts of vital importance to the

Clarence Dale Is having very poor
health at present. He Is staying at
the Farmers hotel so as to be neai
the doctor.
Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Johnson and
children started for Asotin Thurs
day for a ten days' visit with Mrs
Johnson's parents and sister.
Work has been suspended on the
flouring mill for a few days. At
soon as material arrives from the
outside, however, It will be pushed
as fast as possible.
A party consisting of Mr. and Mrs
William Duley, Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Moore, Mr. Borkham, Fred Matthew
and Miss Prudence Eddlemon went
down to the Little Salmon Thursday
to spend two or three days fishing
and enjoying camp life.
Mr. and Mrs. George Clark and
children went to Mud creek a few
days ago for a week's visit with rel
atives. Mrs. H. C. Davis and daughter
Ruby and Guy Skaggs spent Satur
day night and Sunday at the homt
of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Renfrow of Lost
Prairie.
Mrs. Leona Frazler of Paradise is
helping Mrs. N. Austin with hei
house work this week.
J. Q. Connally started for Lewis
ton Sunday morning for the purpose
of bringing' in a new buggy which
he. had ordered shipped there.
Ernest Thomas started for the
Washington harvest fields Wednes
day.
John Romain of Anatone was in
town Sunday night.
Little Jake Bechdolt is on the
sick list this week.
Al Nedrow was up from the river
the last of the week with a load of
fruit and vegetables for the market.
T. D. Conrad, Frank Bork, and
Louis Evans returned from a trip
to Lewlston Saturday, bringing in
freight for Baker & Drake.

Guy Bradshaw killed a cub a few
days ago near his place on Kulin
Ridge.
A fierce fire got started In sonic

sion. Prof. Chas. H. Jones, editor of
the Oregon Teachers' Monthly, will
have charge of the music.
All who Intend to teach in the
county this year should make It a
point to be present, as the work will
be both pleasant and profitable.
