The play itself is an exceedingly clevor conv edy drama, requiring the highest order of dramatic talent on the part of the performers. It is the most difficult thing yet undertaken in the local house and the company deserves credit for nerve in taking it on. Not only will the play itself be well worth seeing, but the scenery required is the most pretentious ever seen in the "house. Inasmuch as the performance is tor the benefit of the band, it is needless to say that the house will be crowded.
