direction of J. A. Denny tackled the"
task of making a wood toad up Deet
Creek. They had only worked Monday
ere they w ere warned out on the stage
road by the road supervisor, who, by
the way, appears- to have much more
to say in this country than the king of
England (natura'ly) ; not blaming the
supervisor as he didn't make the laws,

horses got out of pasture and set out up

off, falling some distance' down a steep
