They went merely on a eight seeing tour, having heard much of the sceni beauty of this section, of Wallowa county, H. H. Mulkey of the "Comet" Min ing and Development company paid a business visit to Enterprise Friday. In the interval between his former and last visits here he reports the opening of a gold and silver tellur ide ore ledge in their property: So far as known this is the first tellur ide found on the Wallowa side of the divide. It runs rich In both gold and silver. Wallowa Valley chapter, O. E. S., had a pleasant social meeting Satur day evening. The worthy matron, Mrs. Elva M. French, will leave this week to visit relatives in the Wil lamette valley and to attend grand chapter, so that this meeting was her fere well to two of the most active young members.
