He was removed to his room above Thos. M Dill's office where he lies in a crit ical condition. County Superintendent J. C. Con ley left for Powwatka ridge Tuesday on a school visiting trip. Mr. Con ley put in nearly a solid month vis iting schools during November, be ing at home only five days. I thought thi3 was a republic and a majority rulei, but it was not so in the poserrffice fight here. There w ere two applicants, m one had 65 sigaers oa his re.ition and the chsr had 30 signers. The minority pre vailed. Such appointments smack somewhat of a despotic government.
