They have gone to housekeeping In the new parson age, and have the heartiest congratu lations and he t w I dies of all. TWO SAD TRAGEDIES IN LINEBARGER FAMILY From La Grande Star. At 2:30 Monday, July 19, the funer al of Oscar Llnebarger, the deaf mut who died in the Sa'.em insane asylum Saturday evening, was held ' the undertaking parlors, the Rev. S. W. Seamann, ofiljlating. The inter ment was made at the I. O. O. F. cemetery. It will be remembered that Ocai Linebarger was In the Grande Ronde hospital from the 7th to the 12th cf July afflicted wl.h a strange malady bat proved to be a case of Insanity, and that this trouble was the result of a beating that the young man re ceived at the bands of robbers near Joseph. This Is the second calamity that has taken place recently In the Llne barger home. About sixteen months ago Harold Llnebarger, a young man jf some twenty-four years, was oat n the mountain side near his home In Ladd Canyon. In some way he tost his footing and fell over a ciiff. Not being able to gain a holding, he went crashing down the mountain nde. landing finally a broken, bleed ing form in which but little life was eft. He died soon after. The Llnebarger family owns a sum mer resort In Ladd Canyon. There is much sympathy felt for them in this their second great bereavement Mining Man Buys Home. Gust Cailsoi, one of the mining foreman who came to Lostine a few Jays ago, and W. T. Potts of Lostine ivere In this city Thursday complet ing the deal by which Mr. Oarisjn became owner of a nice residence property. The sa'e was made through the Lostine Real Estate company. Ray Ve3t went to the Imnaha Thursday to float 4000 feet of lum ber down the liver to his place near Lightning. The lumber is hauled to the end of the wagon road about eight miles below the bridge, th3 i put In the river and rafted th ; r . maining eight miles to Vest's ra.ich.
