for doing so. Thousands of dol
lars are spent for publicity. The
presB agents are paid; the postage
is paid; the composition Is paid
for; Ilia photographs and plates
are paid for; the motion pictures
xre paid for. Why should not the
ublisher get paid for his more
valuable commodity?
This has been our experience.
Politicians will use I he newspa

rcrtive in the above formula.
From tho date hereof until May
1st is the most effective time to
poison and destroy the digger
squirrels, as they are just emerg
ing from their hibernation. They1
are hungry nnd fond is scarce.

large amount of strychnine and
