If such statements were correct, the State of Oregon could not have built the magnificent Southern Oregon Normal, furnished it, graded the grounds and pro vided a library, at a cost of $175,000.00. Wo further know that in stead of a levy of ten mills (as claimed by the Jacksonville Committee) to provide funds to build a courthouse at the end of five years, that a maximum levy of one mill will he sufficient. We believe in progress, and we believe to relocate the county seat at Medford is in line with developmnt and progress. Next Saturday, November 6. the Southern Pacific company will operate a special excursion train from Ashland to "Klamath Falls via the recently completed Natron cut-off from Eugene to the Klamath city.
