been elected to membership in the
Royal
Geographic
Society
of
Grqat Britain.
Jpr. Shelton was one o f the
American scientific mission sent
out by the University of Chica­
go in 1919 which made an ex­
tensive survey of the archaeolog­
ical fields of Egypt, Assyria- and
Babylonia.
