Ore., under act of Mar. 3, 1879 OREGON SENATORS TO VISIT BOARDMAN SOON Boardman is to have a visit in the near future from Senators Stanfield and McNary, who are coming to in spect the project and to find the real wants and needs, and where the gov ernment money should be expended. The visit of the two distinguishd gentlemen is under, the auspices of the Commercial club, and it is plann ed that both men will milke short addresses at the auditorium. The ladies of the project will be asked to serve a luncheon and everyone is urged to be prestent, Definite date later. Earl Cramer and Jay Cox motored to Holdman last Friday on business. The state highway commission has completed the Installation of a rock crusher at Castle Rock and will pro ceed to put crushed rock on the high way. W. H. Stewart is the engin eer in charge. Margaret Smith was seven years old Tuesday so she was hostess at a party for a few of the smaller folk, who enjoyed the affair immensely. The guests were Mildred Allen, Ed ward Skoubo, and A. T. Hereim, Jr. Mrs. Faler, Mrs. Spring, Mrs. Allen and Mrs. Hereim were also present and enjoyed the party as much as the little folk. A "get-acciuainted" day was held at the church Sunday and a beauti ful dinner enjoyed by all present. This was given in place of the usual reception for the pastor, and all had a better opportunity to become ac quainted with Rev. Hughes, wife and daughter than at a former reception. A short program was given after the dinner under the direction of Mrs. Messenger. MAKE O. A. C.
