A proclamation of General Degoutto, commander-in-chief of the occupational forces, ordering all the striking railroad officials and train men to resume work, under penalty of expulsion, was posted throughout the Pulir and Rhineland. The order affects 500,000 Germans, as the families of those refusing to return to their posts will accompany them Into unoccupied Germany. Approximately 125,000 men come dl redly under the order. All the Kuhr and Rhineland railway systems now are held by the French and Belgians, except the line in the Cologne lone bridgehead) which is in the band ol the British.
