It was reported at the Fishermen's I'nlon headquarters yesterday i ftemoon that six boxes of salmon were delivered to the Eureka cannery, the result of the previous day's fishing on the upper river. From this It Is argued that there Is little fishing being done, and that the men are determined to maintain their position. In speaking of the prices of canned goods,' Secretary Jensen said that consumers in tne r.nst snould ne eon cated as to the different lirnnds nnd quality of salmon, and In what consisted the good points of a fish. He thought there would then lie little 'rouble In the maintenance of top prices for Colum- 'la river Chinook. Quite a little excitement was created or 'be streets about 7 o'clock last Wght by the appearance of a large number of fishermen who came running flown from L'ppertown.
