NEXT. Errlc Passo came In last evening with a salmon among his day's catch which weighed 79 pounds. His total delivery won nine, weighing 338 pounds. Three other boats also reported, each having a salmon weighing 74 pounds or over. They all fish for the Elmore cannery. THE yERDICT. ' The coroner's Jury brought in a signed verdict yesterday "that the woman known as' Belle Shelby, alias Potty, came to her death by a gunshot wound, and that they believed the same was In flicted by the deceased's own hand dur ing a fit of temporary Insanity. The verdict was signed by H..G. Smith, fore man, and the rest of the Jury. AN OMISSION. Through some InexplaJnnble error, all mention of the amusing and very enter taining reoltatlon by Miss Annie Olsen, entitled "Aunt Sophronia Tabor at the Opera," at the high school commence ment exercises Friday evening, was omltt.?d from the article in yesterday's paper. Miss Olsen's recitation was one of the gems of the occasion, and re- cleved much merited applause. ALDERBROOK SCHOOL. There was a very fine literary pro gram rendered by the Alderbrook school On Friday morning last, largely attend ed by the patrons of. tho school. An outdoor picnic dinner followed, which was participated In by most of the families of the neighborhood.
