Thomas Winninc. n vonncr EncrliBliman. 21 years of age, lately from California, who has been working for F. X. Ma son, about one and one-half miles east ot Brooks, went out hunting this morning, and while returning home was shot by some unknown party or parties, wlio were hid in tho fcrush, the charge taking effect in the right arm, making a very large and dan gerous wound. After being shot he cried for help and said he was shot. Then the parties, who were about 150 yards distant, fired again, taking effect in the back.
