The hardest task is ' to effectually sit down on Blaine. That's a job that must be sub let. TnE dividends from the Nevada mines for 1881 were $1,194,000, while the assessments amounted to $3,039,000. The gross yield of the state were 89,505,000 for the year. The small dividend took one-ninth of this amount.
