ternational classics, this show will
be full of spectacular fun!
‘Olé!’ World Music and Com-
edy performs on Wednesday,
May 22, at 7 p.m. at the Florence
Events Center, 715 Quince. Come
early to get to know this fun group
during the pre-concert talk start-
ing at 6:15 p.m..
Paul Morocco, Guillermo de
Endaya and Marcial Heredia
make up this merry trio of Lati-
no guitar players. They present a
fresh and exciting blend of Span-
ish comedy, Flamenco, Guitarras
and, of course, their signature
ping pong. These three Latin
Machos, full of fire, fight for their pride
while playing, spinning and throwing
their Spanish guitars. They take the au-
dience on a journey ending in a Grand
Fiesta!!
Paul Morocco developed ‘Ole!’ after
cutting his performing teeth on the streets
of New Orleans. There, he explored his
love for entertaining the public, learning
the timeless craft of connecting to the au-
dience and developing his unique
improvisational skills.
The original ‘Ole!’ show be-
gan at London’s Mime Festival in
1990, and debuted at Edinburgh’s
Fringe Festival in 1991, receiving
not one, but two awards for the
performance.
In 1996, Paul teamed up with
Guillermo De Endaya and Mar-
cial Heredia. This version of the
show plays to enraptured audi-
ences to this day, and has become
an international cult hit all over
the World.

talented as well. Their powerful
performance combines frantic
and zany slapstick that is almost
surreal beyond madness” writes
the UK’s The Daily Telegraph.
SEAcoast Entertainment pres-
nts ‘Ole!’ as part of its 2018-19
season. The group is an all-volunteer 501
(c)(3) bringing incredible music and en-
tertainment to the Central Coast for 38
years. Tickets are on sale now for $35 for
adults and $10 for students.

nating 10 percent of their
sales to support the FRAA
Arts Center, 120 Maple St.

SHS to award $240,000
in scholarships May 30
Siuslaw High School, in
collaboration with ASPIRE,
would like to cordially invite
the community to the SHS
Scholarship Awards Ceremo-
ny for this year’s 2019 gradu-
ating class. The event will be
held Thursday, May 30, at the
Florence Events Center.
More than 45 local organi-
zations will be present to dis-
tribute nearly 150 individual
scholarships to our SHS stu-
dents. Come experience this
life-changing event for your-
self and witness the power of
community as over $240,000
in local scholarship money is
awarded.
Beginning this year, the
event has been relocated to
the Florence Events Center.

display their goods.
For those who do not have
a garage, adequate parking
or hard to find locations,
this is a perfect solution to
be part of this huge sale. Sin-
gle booths and double spaces
are available for a fee from
$35 to $90 and there are dis-
counts for nonprofit groups.
Space will be available up
until Thursday, June 13, at 5
