fired a great round of 74 to lead
the Senior Division and set the
overall pace during the open-
ing round. Meanwhile, John
Palin of Vancouver, Wash., led
the Regular Division after
shooting an 81.
In the Women’s Division,
Caroline Mecham led the first
day of competition with a 97.
On Sunday, golfers found
much calmer conditions,
although early-morning golf-
ers teed off in the fog.
Eventually, the fog lifted and
gave way to clear skies and
very little wind.
Anderson, who led the first
day, was able to match his
opening round with another
74 to claim the Senior Division
as well as claim the low total
for the 2-day tournament.

the walk, which begins at the Florence Christian Church. Wear your Power of Florence
