Presented by “Writers on the River,” the class will show writers of all levels how to turn their precious memories and unique life events into compelling sto- ries that can inspire and entertain readers, or simply leave a legacy of love and wisdom for family and friends. In a desensitized world hungry for emotion and imagination, stories hold the potential to heal lives, offer hope and uplift the human condition. Classes fill up quickly; pre-registration is required. The Symphony proudly bills itself as the “Orchestra at the Ocean,” being the only year-round professional sym- phony orchestra on the Oregon coast. The evening will be led by Adam Flatt, the orchestra’s music director since 2007.
