Kent is running for the Lane County Board of Commissioners in the May 15, 2018, Primary Election. Today The Siuslaw Public Library will host a performance by the John Quay Heritage Players of the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum, a local drama group of talented actors and actresses. The group will appear in the Bromley Room at the main branch of the library in Florence on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. The John Quay Heritage Players perform dramatiza- tions of early life in and around Florence. The pioneers of our area are brought to life through monologues delivered by familiar local performing artists.
