Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile, And on every street corner you’ll hear: Silver bells, silver bells, It’s Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, soon it will be Christmas day. City street lights, even stop lights, blink a bright red and green, As the shoppers rush home with their treasures. Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch, This is Santa’s big scene, And above all this bustle you’ll hear: Silver bells, silver bells, It’s Christmas time in the city. Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, soon it will be Christmas day. The Christmas Song Chestnuts roasting on an open fi re Jack Frost nipping at your nose Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir And folks dressed up like Eskimos. Holly Jolly Christmas Have a holly, jolly Christmas; It’s the best time of the year I don’t know if there’ll be snow, but have a cup of cheer. Have a holly, jolly Christmas; And when you walk down the street Say Hello to friends you know and everyone you meet. Oh, ho, the mistletoe hung where you can see; Somebody waits for you; Kiss her once for me. Have a holly jolly Christmas, and in case you didn’t hear, Oh by golly, have a holly, jolly Christmas this year. A BOUT U H AIR & N AIL S ALON 139 Maple St. • 541-902-7615
