A: We are an all volunteer shopping style food pantry serving Mapleton and the surrounding areas. We provide basic pantry staples, meat, canned food and produce. We furnish toilet paper and laundry soap along with personal care items. Q: What are your greatest accomplishments so far, this year? A: We are supplying sack lunches for kids this summer since there is no food program in Mapleton. We have lunches Mon., Weds., and Fri. at Mapleton Food Share, Mapleton Library, Mapleton High School and the Deadwood Store. Q: Do you have a personal story that describes the impact your organization has had in the community? A:Our volunteer that delivers to Deadwood feels like Santa Claus when he gets to the store and the kids are waiting for lunches. Q: What is your current greatest need? A:Our greatest need is now and always, funding. We are on our own out here and can only do what we do with fi nancial assistance. Q: Describe your organizations personality in three words.
