COCARC set to conduct 24 hour emergency excersize
On the weekend of June 24-
25, members of the Central
Oregon Coast Amateur Radio
Club (COCARC) will partici-
pate
in Field Day 2017.
COCARC will be joining thou-
sands of amateur radio opera-
tors worldwide to demonstrate
their effectiveness and profi-
ciency in providing critical
communications after a cata-
strophic event such as an earth-
quake or tsunami.
The event begins at 11 a.m.
on Saturday, June 24, and will
operate continuously for 24
hours until Sunday, June 25, at
11 a.m.

radio stations on emergency

ing all over the Pacific
