Christian Conference If: Gathering Women’s Conference returns to Florence In 2007, Jennie Allen says she sensed God telling her to disciple a generation. It seemed to be an impos- sible and improbable calling. Allen knew that if this call was truly from God, then He would make it a reality. So for years she waited, took small steps of obedience, and watched God begin to open doors and give favor. The vision was to gather, equip and unleash women to live out God’s call- ing in their lives. So, together with a team of friends, Allen formally estab- lished “IF: Gathering,” a global women’s gathering that will take place June 2 and 3 this year. “We have seen God use this event to livestream at the FEC. change lives for eternity, and we Gathering 2017,” says Allen. The way God moved through them was simple and pure. “We believe they are the model we need right now,” said Allen. “Our dream is that we would experience the power of God as He does big things through simple acts of faith. “That we live unified, surrendered to God, not just in our minds and in our theology, but also in our daily lives.” The If: Gathering will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, and from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.
