Deputy Dornbusch has held assignments in Jail Security, Main Offi ce Patrol, and in the cities of Creswell and Veneta. Deputy Dornbusch was assigned to the Dunes Patrol position in September 2016 when Deputy Ed LaGrone retired. Deputy Dornbusch is a member of the Sheriff’s Offi ce peer support team, is a Reserve Deputy Advisor, and is currently the only Sheriff’s Offi ce certifi ed Drug Recognition Expert. In his time off Deputy Dornbusch enjoys camping with his family. Brian joined the department in early 2014. He has over 15 years law enforcement experience ranging from a Reserve Offi cer and Communications Offi cer for North Bend, Tribal Police Offi cer with the Coquille Tribal Police to his current position as Lieutenant with the department. Brian is from the Florence area and graduated from Siuslaw High School Doug has been in Law Enforcement for over 20 years. Before joining the CTCLUSI Police Department Doug was employed by Coos County Sherriff’s offi ce. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and served in the Marine Corps. His primary patrol area is our Coos Bay tribal lands. Over 13 years ago Brad helped start and became a part of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Police Department. He currently holds the rank of Chief of Police. Prior to working at CTCLUSI Police Department, Brad was employed by Oregon State Police. Shane has been an offi cer with CTCLUSI Police department since 2015, before that time Shane held several positions within CTCLUSI Tribal government. His primary patrol area is Florence Tribal lands. We use our own vehicles and provide our own fuel. In the past year we drove over 19,000 miles and donated over 1700 hours of our time. We are eyes for OSP and a positive point of contact for those visiting our coast.
