To commemorate the occa- sion, the Florence bank branch is inviting area businesses and residents to join the team for a Centennial Celebration on Monday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the bank, located at 620 Highway 101. The branch will provide cake and refreshments and the celebration will feature a spe- cial drawing. Yard Debris Disposal COST 5 A Realty group names Tim Sapp Realtor of the Year Florence Realtor Tim Sapp has been named 2017 Realtor Of The Year by the Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors. The award was announced at the orga- nization’s annual meet- ing which was held at the Florence Events Center on March 29. Sapp is the Owner and Principal Broker of TR Hunter Real Estate and has been a real estate broker since 1991. The ROTY award recognizes Sapp’s many years of com- munity service in Florence. Tim is a decorated Vietnam War Veteran awarded two Silver Stars, two Bronze Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross and the Purple “GOOGLE GURU GORILLA TRAINING” COURTESY PHOTO Tim Sapp Heart. He was awarded the Key to the City for his work bringing the Moving Vietnam Memorial Wall to Florence in 2001. He was also instru- mental in organiz- ing the Veterans Day Parade and the Oregon Coast Military Museum. Tim is a “quiet” giver, donating to many local projects and spending hundreds of hours helping people in need. The Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors was established in 1974 in Florence. It provides professional continuing education for Realtor members and is known for its advocacy for pri- vate property rights, and serves as the voice for real estate in Florence and West Lane County.
