Spiritopia Spiritopia is a craft distillery based in Corvallis that special- izes in liqueurs and brandy. This family-owned business was founded by Spirit Chemist Chris Beatty four years ago and now has four products: three liqueurs — ginger, apple and pomegranate — and a Bourbon-Style Apple Brandy. The ginger liqueur is very popular and won a Best of Show/Double Gold Medal at the Seattle International Spirits Competition in 2016. The apple liqueur is made from 100 percent Pacific Northwest apples with over 60 apples going into each bottle. The Pomegranate is our newest product and features fresh, bright fruit from California and our apple brandy as the base spirit. Our brandy is quite different from the liqueurs. It is a “cask strength” brandy that is bottled at 104 proof. After distilling on a small pot still, the brandy is aged in charred American oak which gives it a whiskey-like taste profile. For those who enjoy sipping Bourbon, Cognac or other whiskies, this may be your new favorite. Assistant distiller Sebastian will be at the Home and Garden show and pouring sam- ples of all the products. For more information and many cocktail recipes, visit us at www.spiritopia.com.
