Ms. Pam's first and second grade combined
class got a class pet. The students spent
two weeks researching and reporting on the care
and requirements of their new pet and were
thrilled to finally meet Rose, a one year old
hedgehog. Rose will be in class with the students
for the rest of the year and will support the stu-
dents as a reward for hard work accomplished.
The students are enjoying feeding her meal
worms and watching her run (faster than you
would imagine) on the reading rug when the day's
work is completed. Welcome to Mapleton, Rose!
