OBITUARY
PANEITZ—Harvey Ray
Paneitz, 68, of Westlake,
passed away in Florence on
Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, from
heart failure.
Harvey was born in
Franklin
County,
Mo., on July
13, 1948, to
Elsie
A.
Luhring and
Albert C.
Paneitz.

serving
in
Harvey Paneitz
the Marine
Corps in Cambodia, where he
earned the National Defense
Service Medal and Rifle
Marksmanship
Badge,
Harvey’s professional career
revolved mostly around med-
ical services administration
and consulting, taking him to
states all over the nation.
He was also a very success-
ful restaurateur for several
years. In 2014, Harvey moved
to Westlake, where he enjoyed
gourmet meals, golfing and his
favorite pastime, fishing.
He most recently caught the
15-pound native coho shown
in his photo.
Harvey is survived by his
children: Greg, Matthew, Joe,
Jessica and Dalton, and their
families; and his many close
friends in Westlake who were
like family to him.
A celebration of Harvey’s
life will be held privately
amongst family and friends.
Burns’s Riverside Chapel
Florence Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
