Boy Scout Troop 777 and the Florence Elks are joining forces to put on a pan- cake breakfast fundraiser from 8 to 11 a.m., at the Elks Lodge on 12th Street. The breakfast includes pan- cakes, sausages, juice and coffee. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the scout pro- gram and camping for the troop. The breakfast is $8 per person; seconds are only $2 more. Monday, Nov. 21 C HRISTMAS TREE PERMITS The Siuslaw National Forest will begin issuing Christmas tree cutting permits Monday, Nov. 21, at its offices in Corvallis, Hebo, Reedsport and Waldport. Permits cost $5 each or are free with a fourth-grader’s Every Kid In A Park pass. Every Kid passes are free to any student attending the fourth grade this school year. To purchase a Christmas tree permit for the Siuslaw National Forest, visit the Reedsport office eventcenter.org, go to the box office at 715 Quince St. or call 541-997-1994. Tickets are $18 for adults and Thursday, Nov. 24 $10 for youth 12 and younger.
