Beverly was born Nov. 16, 1929, in L o s Angeles, Calif., and Beverly Mason lived her early years in Southern California. There, she and her first husband raised three children: Kim, Terry and Jill, along with six grandchildren. In 1969, she met and mar- ried her second husband, Earl Mason, and lived in Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes, Calif., before moving to Oregon. They spent many years intermittently traveling much of the United States by RV and enjoying each new adven- ture. They eventually settled in Yachats in 1994 and moved to Florence in 2001. Beverly lived in Florence, a town she loved, until her death. Among her favorite things were the ocean, her backyard and her dog, Micky. She also loved to sew, quilt and liked to curl up with a good book. Her gentle nature and spirit remains in the hearts of all who knew her. We rejoice that she has gone to a better place. There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday, Nov. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 88096 Windleaf Way in Florence.
