Turner cited the 15 drills that the district has engaged in over the last two years, pointing out in particular an exercise that involved multi- ple first responding agencies. “We had a major exercise in June that was evaluated by Homeland Security,” he said. “Our local fire department, tribal police and local emer- gency responders were all involved in the daylong exer- cise.” A significant benefit of these training days is often overlooked, however. Turner said, “One of the most important elements of this training was to establish familiarity between the vari- ous first responders. It allows those first responders to become familiar with the buildings and locations where they will be responding.” THANK CONCEAL CARRY CARRY CONCEAL PERMIT CLASS CLASS PERMIT Oregon –Utah Oregon – Valid in 35 Utah - Valid 34 States States Saturday, November 5th 3:30pm Walk-ins Welcome Florence Event Center, 715 Quince St. OR/Utah–valid in WA $80 or Oregon only $45 shauncurtain.com ~ ~ shauncurtain@gmail.com FIREARMTrainingNW.com FIREARM TrainingNW@gmail.com 360-921-2071 YOU!
