Ryan will perform at a fundraising event Saturday, June 4, for community radio station KXCR 90.7 FM. “Walker T. is the real deal. A bluesman, a Delta bluesman,” says Ken Babbs, original Merry Prankster. It’s an assessment that is shared by the audience mem- bers who attended his last Florence appearance in 2013. “One of the most memo- rable musical performances I’ve experienced in the (Siuslaw Public Library’s) Bromley Room,” said Stu Henderson. “Walker T. blew us away. KXCR just had to get him back.” This time, the venue has changed. Our mission is to provide a diverse selection of vintage, antique and flea mar- ket goods to share with our mar- ket guests.” Throughout the market, ven- dors will be offering antique, vintage, re-purposed and up- cycled goods in all styles: French-inspired, shabby-chic, western, industrial, beach décor and more. In addition, there will be an entire section dedicated to out- door living, including Gypsy- camp style vintage trailers and camp gear just in time for camp- ing season. “My family has always had a passion for decorating and enter- taining, whether at our home or on the road in our travel trail- ers,” said Berggren. “Trips to Europe have helped define our taste for old-world, well-used and time-worn furnishings paired with elegant crystal, sil- ver and rich linens. We take all these ideas and bring them on the road with us at our markets.” Berggren explained that, his- torically, gypsy camps were known for bright, colorful peo- COAST RADIO SPORTS ATHLETE eek w e h t of KCST Radio, the Siuslaw News and The Sports Club Congratulate all of the 2015-2016 Athletes of the Week and the Male and Female Athlete of the Year Victoria Rojas Trent Reavis A T H L E T E Claire Waggoner Scott Gordon Hunter Simington Taylor Dotson Kenneth Thrall Name: Kenneth Thrall School: Siuslaw High School of the year Kenneth h rall used both legs… sometimes just one of them… to gain entry into the Siuslaw football record book.
