Board member Suzanne Mann-Heintz (left) made the presenta- tion during the coalition’s May 4 meeting. According to Mann-Heintz, Hicks has been volunteering in the community since she was 13. She is Student Body President, has a 3.9772 GPA and is involved in the LINK leadership group, the Rotary Interact Club, the Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilt program and was involved with the Lions Club. “We look for students who show a dedi- cation to volunteerism, since that is what this organization is all about,” Mann-Heintz said.
