After Ethel passed away, he continued to be very active in the Latter-Day Saints (LDS) Church, where he met Kathy Kneaper and soon realized they enjoyed the same loves and interests. Eventually they mar- ried, and Larry was introduced to another family: Teresa Spangler, Brad Kneaper and many grandchildren. Larry spent much time with his grandchildren and spent as much time with them as possi- ble. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He was active in the LDS Church activ- ities as well as Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Shriners. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his brothers Lynn Stonelake and Toby Martin; his sister Dee Power; his sons Jeff and Wayne Stonelake; and his grandchildren: Heather Stinger, Stephanie Stonelake and Kody Stonelake; and stepdaugher Teresa Spangler and stepson Brad Kneaper. Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel; his infant son, Clinton Michael; and his parents. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, at the LDS Church, 2705 Munsel Lake Road, in Florence, at 11 a.m. Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. INFANTE—Jerree C. Infante, 67, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away after a brief bout with pancreatic cancer and went to be with her Lord May 10, 2016. She was born May 2, 1949. Jerree was a realtor in Florence for many years and helped operate her husband’s satellite TV business here. She was active in community the- ater, serving as president of the Last Resort Players and stage- managed many plays. After retiring to Springfield, Ohio, from Florence in 2008, her favorite things were the summer arts festival, July Fourth fireworks and her annu- al trip to Clevelend to see her Yankees. She is survived by her hus- band of 30 years, Steven G. Infante; her daughter and son- in-law, Christine and Steve Mougeotte, of Florence; six grandchildren, including Kelle Burton of Florence; and five great-grandchildren. BUCHANAN —Marilyn Buchanan, 89, passed away at home in her sleep May 4, 2016. Her love of life and adventurous spirit will live on. Marilyn was born Marilyn Oct. 16, Buchanan 1926, in Long Beach, Calif., the daugh- ter of Goldie Frost and Harry Ross Buchanan. Marilyn worked as an elemen- tary school principal in Simi Valley, California, for over 20 years. She was the first woman elementary school principal to serve in that district. She was an enthusiastic world traveler throughout her life. She held teaching and prin- cipal positions in Japan, Germany and Ethiopia. In her later life, she enjoyed traveling through Africa, Asia and the rivers of Europe. Marilyn was an avid fisher- woman, catching salmon in L L E E O O M M L L I I D D Canada, Alaska and Mexico. She also enjoyed playing dupli- cate bridge. Marilyn is survived by her long-time partner, Claudia Nyberg, of Florence. Larry was born June 20, 1937, in North Bend, Ore., to Lila and Jalmer Stonelake. Not long after, they moved and resided in the Florence area. In 1956, Larry graduated from Siuslaw High School, where he enjoyed many friends and participated in most sports. After high school, Larry joined the U.S. Air Force with his best friend, Dave Stevens. He later met his wife Ethel while sta- tioned in Klamath Falls, Ore., and started a family blessed with three boys: Jeffrey Alec, Larry Wayne and Clinton Michael. Larry served his country honorably for 20 years and “5 minutes,” including a stint in Vietnam. After retiring, he returned with his family to Florence and
