Three Rivers’ toy, food drive hits record high
Brightening the holidays for
children has always been the
goal of Three Rivers Casino
Resort’s toy and canned food
drive. Three Rivers extends the
program to include Florence
and Coos Bay properties.
In 2015, Three Rivers
Casino Resort hit a record-high
in donations with 7,364
pounds of food and nearly
2,000 toys.
The annual toy and food
drive was held Nov. 1 through
Dec. 16 in Florence. During
that time, community members
were asked to donate new,
unwrapped toys and/or three
cans of food for $5 in free play
at the casino. Three Rivers
offered free play one time per
week. All donations went to
Soroptimists’
annual
Christmas and food drive.
“We were incredibly grate-
ful to extend our annual toy
and food drive to both
Florence and Coos Bay com-
munities this last year,” said
