The Salvation Army of Western Lane County appreciates
so much the tremendous outpouring of support it has
received during its fi rst Red Kettle Campaign during this
Christmas Season. Many people are asking what will the
Army do with the moneys that are being collected? The
answer at this point is to carefully assess where there
are gaps in services that need to be fi lled locally and
partnerships with existing programs that can be made. At
this time, we would like to challenge the entire Western
Lane County community of businesses and individuals
living in our area to make this coming Monday, December
21st, MAKE A DIFFERENCE MONDAY. Take a moment to
write a generous check TO YOUR FAVORITE CHARITY,
CHURCH or ORGANIZATION serving Western Lane
County and mail it to them today. You can fi nd a good list
of associations, clubs, charities, churches, museums, art
galleries and social services agencies that are members of
the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce on its web site:
https://www.fl orencechamber.com/member-directory/
or in the directories of our local telephone books.
Your gift today will encourage others who are serving
the needs of those less fortunate than yourself OR the
educational and cultural interests of others that helps
to make our community more vibrant and livable. Make
your gift today and share your gratitude for what others
are doing with their passions to give hope, help and
inspiration in service toward a greater good for all.
May God Bless You and Grant You and Yours a VERY
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
