Arrest, with warrant, was reported at Highway 126 and North Fork Road. ESHER—Merril Esher, 88, of Florence, passed away Dec. 9, 2015. Born in Elmhurst, Ill., in 1927, he served in the U.S. Navy late in World War II for four-and-a-half years. He grew up in Argos, Ind., until he was 18. Merril went to college in Angola, Ind., at Tri-State College, earning a degree in electronic communication. He worked for Westinghouse TV in Sunbury, Pa., where he met his wife, who died after 56 years of glory. Merril also worked for Motorola in Phoenix, Ariz., for 13 years, much of it on the Apollo communications equip- ment.
