Pierson is a Certified Educational Facilities Prof- essional, a Certified Sustain- able Building Advisor, a GreenFaith Fellow and a 2013 U.S. Green Building Council Greenbuild Scholar. He has a varied back- ground in construction man- agement, nonprofits and high- er education, and served as the associate director of facil- ities management and plan- ning at LCC prior to his move to Florence this past March.
