The department provides 20- hour patrols per day of urban, suburban and rural areas, including timberlands, water- ways and coastal dune areas. Western Lane Ambulance District The Only Emergency Medical Service & Critical Care Transport Service In Western Lane County Rhody Express, a commu- nity transit service in Florence, operates Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and provides transportation around town. Fares are $1 for one way or $2 for all day. The vehicle is wheelchair accessible and includes space for bicycles. Why not save money and the environment by using durables with reusable dishware and place settings from Florence Master Recycler’s Durable Dishware Rental Program. Th e Florence Master Recyclers have put together kits of 150 place settings of plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and even cloth napkins for free rental to the general public. If your event is outdoors, there’s even a mobile washing station for your needs. We can accommodate a group as small as a dozen and up to 150.
