Piano music, improv with Glen Rose Monday
Welcome to 80 Years of Excellence!
Pianist Glen Rose will be
appearing in concert in the
home of local piano teacher
Kathy Parsons on Monday,
March 30, beginning at 7 p.m.
Rose has had a multifarious
career in many aspects of
music. Playing cocktail piano
jobs has always been an enjoy-
able backdrop between his
other musical activities.
Rose will be playing piano
standards with his light touch,
easy-listening jazz style and
sharing some of his improvisa-
tional techniques. Pianists in
the audience are free to ask
questions. One of Rose’s hob-
bies is studying the songwriters
who wrote the famous jazz
standards, so attendees will
hear something about that, too.
Rose has been a professional
entertainer and jazz musician
