Bird netting project to restrict lanes on
Siuslaw Bridge beginning Monday
A project to place netting
material, designed to keep
birds from nesting beneath the
concrete spans of the Siuslaw
River Bridge, will restrict trav-
el across the bridge to a single
lane.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 26,
and
continuing
through
Thursday, Jan. 29, a snooper
crane will be located in one
lane of traffic on the bridge,
allowing staff to work beneath
the deck.
The work will be conducted
between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
During that time, traffic across
the bridge will be controlled by
flaggers. Travelers should
