generally in favor of a new court house,
but are unanimous in the opinion that it
should be erected, near the lai-ioe.s oor

commissioners to give the matter due cop.- j

to be hoped tiiat their good judgment will
prevail; and even if they are compelled
to pay two or three thousand dollars for a
building spot in a suitable and convenient
part of tho town, they will be sustained

fraternity are also unanimous in con
demning the erection of a court house on
the blu if.
Remember Mr. Commissioners, how the
old court house and its projectors were
damned by all who had occasion to visit
it often, and don't place yourselves in the
