Clackamas Packing Company. The
Oregoniiin of the tilth has the following :
A sample of the fruit put up by the
firm of Gen. A.F. TiOvejoy. near Oregon
City, by tho Clackamas Packing Com
pany lias Urn left at this otlice. 'An
inspection of the fruit canned eher
rit;s proves that in lvspect to richness
and m-licacy of flavor, the sample is
not inferior to any canned fruit put up
ia the Fistf-rn States orCalifornia. Tliis
c Hiipanv, we understand, lias I he need
ed facilities lor cunning fruits of all
kinds cherries, peaches, plums, pears,
prunes, berries, vegetables, meats, etc.
The company was organized and opera
ctioiisconmienccd last year, but notwith
standing the recent inauguration of the
enterprise, they are prepared to supply
the market for Oregon and the north
west coast. Considerable quantities of
the canned fruit have already been
shipped to San Francisco, and produced
a verv favorable impression in the
market. The fruit is put up in tin cans,
in splendid order, hermetically sealed,
and will keep sweet and fresh foryears.
The enterprise is certainly deserving of
success. Thousands of dollars are sent
ntiniitlly from the State for canned
fruit and berries, which could he kept
here and put in circulation. No State
in the I'nion can produce better fruit,
vegetal iles and berries than can Oregon.
The process employed bv the Clacka
mas Packing Company in preparing
fruit, vegetables and meats, is not in
ferior to that of Cutting A; Co., or any
of the large canning establishments
Kast. Such useful and important homo
industries should be patronized and
cncM ii raged. The company is prepared
to till all orders at once.

This is a sample of many thousand testi

around each bottle. It contains Witch
Hazel, Ment ha, Arnica, Rook Oil, Carbolic,

is an indisputable fact that the Centaur
Liniment is performing mores cures of
Swellings, StilT Joirt.s, Kruptions, lthe-u-niat

I,ock-jaw, etc., t han all et he r Liniments,
fJinbrocatieuis Extracts, tialves, Ointments
and Plasters now in use.
For Toothache, Karach, Weak P.ack, Itch
and Cutaneous Kruptions it is admirable.
It cures burns and scalds without a scar.
Extracts poison freun bites anil stinjrs, anel
heals frost-bites and chillblains in a short
time. No family can atTord to te without
the Centaur Liniment, white wrapivr.
THo Cciiliiiir bininiciit, i'ellw
Vi'iiiiu'er, is adapted to the toutrh skin,
muscles and flesh of the animal creation.
Its cfTect.s upon severe cases of Spavin,
S-.veenv, Wind Gall, Pi. Head and Poll
Evil, are little less than marvellous.
Messrs. J. Mcf'Iure Sc Co., Druists, cor.
Elm and Front Sts., Cincinnati, O., say :
"In our neighborhood a number of team

They pronounce it superior to anything
the-y have ever used. We sell as hljrh as

these teamsters."
We have t housands of similar testimo
