All the former soldier of Athena, Weston ami Adams are urged to attend. Harold J. Warner, president of the American Legion for Umatilla coun ty, is expected to be present and to give an address. We may be able to help you. vmVAVVAVnVVAS'ASi.V Lloyd Ritchey is Dead Lloyd Ritchey, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ritchey of Forest Grove, died at the family home November 10, 11)19, after an illness of about nine months, the result of after-effects of influenza. Deceased was born in Weston, Ore gon, November 16, 1898, and came from a pioneer family. He is sur vived by his parents and two sisters, .Mrs. Eva Ritchey Shick of Weston and Miss Maggie Ritchey of Forest Grove. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. He will moke occasional trips to Athena to ploy with the town basket ball team there organized. Tho regular monthly business meeting of tho Epworth League was held in the parlors of the M. E. Church, South, Friday evening. The annual election of officers was sched uled to be held at this meeting, but by ununimous vote the election was postponed until spring, the present officers to hold over until that timo. A jolly social hour followed the so rious deliberations, refreshments were indulged in and the event was much enjoyed by all present.
