Local and Personal Notes. W, L. Smith went to Portland yesterday. Frank Griffin was op from lone, yesterday. Dillaid French was in from Ourdane yesterday. Chris Borchers has leturned from Medical Lake. James Nunamaker came up from Hood River, Monday. And there will be big times in Heppner tomorrow. Joseph E. Waid, of LexinRton -was a Heppner visitor Saturday. C. E. Woodsoon is in Portland this week attending to legal business. Heppner's business houses will close from 2 to'5 p. m. on Friday and Saturday. Mrs. S.P. Wilson of Monument is visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Delmar Ward. F. 0. Mariardaen will start for SDokane. Sunday. He will go across the country in his automo bile. .
