COUNTY COURT PROCEEDINGS County court convened in regu lar .session Wednesday of last week, with a full board present. The session was unusually long owing to a large amount of busi ness in the closing up of the old year and the commencing of the new year. The annual reports of J. N. Beeler, J. H. Allen, B. F. Devore, Samnel Esteb and J. H. Barker, as road supervisors were submitted and approved. The annual report of the sheriff on the 1905 tax roll was presented and approved. An tone Vey was allowed a re bate on his taxed, owing to on error, after having presented the ptoper affidavit. The report of the surveyor and viewers on the Franklin hill grade was approved, retition of D. S. Barlow, et al, for a public road was rejected. Petition of R. M. Akers for establishment of county road was rejected. The county clerk was ordered to issue a warrant directing the sheriff to cohect the delinquent 1905 taxes. The report of the surveyor and viewers on the proposed change in the Wayne Howard road was accepted. W. C. Cnson was appointed con stable for district No. 3 to take the place of W. II. Boot's, resigned. J. C. Kirk was appointed road viewer for the year 1907. LTarry Cummings was re-apoint- ed fruit inspector for the year 1907. S. r. Devin was appointed county road-master for the year 1907, at a salary of $100 per month. The jury list consisted of 200 taxpayers was drawn and placed in the jury tax. Iu the matter of the establish ment of a county road, petitioned for by O. S. llodson, et al. Allow ed. McAlister was appointed commissioner to represent Morrow county at the Jamestown exposi tion, without salary or other ex pense to the county. The salary of Deputy County Clerk, L. D. Morgan ws certainly there at center, batting the ball every time on the toss, and play, ing his part with great force. The Club boys were in the game from start to finish and every fellow played his part in good shape. Karl Beach, captain for the Lexington team, is the best all around player the visitors had and put up a8tiffgame all through. The rest of the team played the best they could, but they were out classed and showed a lack of team work, ihey were good loosers and nice fellows. The game was not as rough as the two former games, but still jad enough of the unnecessary to take off a few patches of skin and stack a bump or two on the heads of the different tflavers. Aside rom stacking the umpire on his head in the corner the officials emerged without any scratches.
