WADE IIOIUE AGAIN. Pendleton Cashier Returns After wear's Absence. Pendleton, Or., Jan. 21. After ex actly one year'B absence, C. B. Wade, the defaulting cashier cf the First National Bank, of Pendleton, has re turned to the city. While it is general ly believed that Wade came back at the solicitation of his wife, it is under stood that his return was hastened up on the request of the District Attorney, who issued a warrant for his arrest several months ago. Pleadings of intimate friends and the action of the hunk in settling a large prrtion of the cashier's account?, amounting to over (10,000, are eaid to b-3 the cause of his nmarreet. Wade's physique is almost wrecked, and enly intimate friends are peimitted to see him. Colonel J. Wade was absent from Pendleton a year to tho very day. He spent part of the time in Honolulu, but returned last Summer to California, where he re mained until this week.
